It’s 106 degrees F outside my house today. My evaporative cooler is running like crazy to keep up. Luckily only 7% humidity. *1st world problems*

I would kill for 106 of dry heat! I have 96 degrees with 90% humidity! I drown in my own sweat when I walk outside!

I bought a house with a heat pump last year. I honestly don’t know how I lived without it. I think about boarding up a bedroom window and having one room livable and laugh. At that point we’ d laugh about the kid having to sleep in the next room.

It’s high 90’s in Southern CO. Thank goodness for our dry heat. Summer is here for sure.

I will never forget the day I left northern Illinois moving here many years ago. Said goodbye to the movers and jumped on my motorcycle. It was 95 degrees and 93% humidity. I don’t miss that.

Who has two thumbs and no air conditioning?
This guy.

Somehow I survived growing up in the Midwest without A/C. That is a cruel thing to do to your kid, though.

Yep. After a very chilly spring, we are into summer.

It’s not generally necessary up here. Most days it only gets into the low 80’s or so. Today appears to be an exception.

I really enjoyed our wet and cool Spring, but, yeah, Summer is here. I think it was last year when we really didn’t have a Spring. It went from Winter to Summer.

*swamp cooler
Also, samesies. 108* and 8% humidity. But I have central a/c :)
I grew up with swamp coolers. Nice for the power bill when the conditions allow but miserable with any kind of humidity.

It’d be tricky to do that AND use the internet, though.
Personal comfort/not dying of heat stroke takes a backseat to good internet.

You are so right. When humidity goes over 35-40% you might as well drive around and sleep in the car. I’m too cheap to spend the $8-10 large to convert, though. Wen I do get that few days of too high humidity, I just remember how it was before I ever had any type of AC.

Then again i can walk around balls deep and use a phone. I’m sure I could rig up and over the shoulder laptop rig if I was pressed.

Give me a break with your 107F bullshit. It's been 115+ for the last week.
